Nasrin Quader Siddiqui, wife of Krishak Sramik Janata League's founding president Bangabir Quader Siddiqui Biruttam, has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).2 She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital on Saturday (June 7) night.34
It is learnt that she had been admitted to the hospital since May 22 due to a brain hemorrhage.5 Her death has cast a shadow of mourning over the political arena.6
Nasrin Siddiqui was also serving as a member of the Krishak Sramik Janata League's central committee.7 Party sources said that details about her namaz-e-janaza, burial and other formalities will be announced later.8 The first namaz-e-janaza will be held at PTI School Mosque in Tangail after Zohr on Sunday. Later, the second namaz-e-janaza will be held at her home in Chatihati, Kalihati after Asr. After other formalities, the burial will be completed in the locality.910
