Hotel and resort discounts compete to attract tourists during Eid holidays

The 10-day holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha has added a new dimension to the country's tourism sector. Due to the visa complications and high costs for foreign tourists, many are planning to travel within the country. Taking this opportunity, hotels and resorts are offering various discounts and offers to attract tourists.

Discount rush in Cox's Bazar

Hotels and resorts in Cox's Bazar, the country's main tourist destination, are offering discounts ranging from 31% to 55%. Some resorts also offer a third night free after staying for two nights. However, due to travel restrictions in St. Martin, Maheshkhali and Sonadia, tourist interest has decreased slightly. Still, 5 to 6 lakh tourists are likely to come to Cox's Bazar.

Advance booking in Moulvibazar

Small resorts in the Srimangal and Kamalganj areas of Moulvibazar are 100% booked. Up to 80% of large resorts and hotels have been booked in advance. Tourists are expected to flock to various tourist attractions including tea gardens, Lawachara National Park, and Madhabkunda Falls.

Preparations complete in Kuakata

Hotels, motels, and resorts in Kuakata are almost fully booked. Tourist police have made preparations to ensure the safety of tourists. If the weather is favorable, tourists are expected to flock to Kuakata.

Discount offers in Gazipur and Sylhet too

Gazipur's Chuti Resort is offering up to 55% discount. Nazimgarh Resort in Sylhet has a one-room-free offer if you book two rooms. Moulvibazar's Dusai Resort and Kamalganj's Backyard Retreat are also offering various discount offers.

Special Offers for Tourists

BRAC Bank debit and credit cardholders can enjoy up to 50% off on flights, hotels, shopping and dining during Eid-ul-Azha. In addition, various resorts and hotels are also offering special discounts through bank cards.
